Trauma-Informed Healing through Yoga and Science
Unlock the power of creating ‘brave spaces’ and cultivating a sense of ‘relative safety’ in your workplace, clinic, or classroom by becoming trauma-informed. This course will teach you how to provide a sanctuary for individuals who feel unseen, unheard, and unloved, helping them reconnect to themselves and others. With a solid foundation of safety, you'll nurture vulnerability, enabling personal growth and empowerment.
Drawing from the ancient system of yoga, paired with cutting-edge scientific research and modern somatic practices, this program equips you with the knowledge and tools to support trauma recovery and foster resilience in your clients.
Course Dates & Times:

This program is ideal for anyone who:
Yoga has been a profound healing tool in my life since the 1990s when I recovered from a spinal injury. Its transformative power inspired me to become a yoga teacher in 2000, leading me to teach globally and consult on wellness programs. I have been fortunate to share my passion for Yin, Vinyasa, meditation, trauma-informed yoga, and anatomy in countries across Asia, South and Central America, Europe, and North America.
After significant life challenges—including breast cancer and a full hip replacement—my yoga practice has remained a vital source of strength. Today, as I pursue training as a Somatic Movement Therapist, I am more committed than ever to blending the wisdom of Eastern spirituality with the latest Western research.
I believe that the limitations we experience are often self-imposed, and by expanding our minds, we open doors to limitless possibilities. Join me in this course to explore how you can create spaces of healing, growth, and transformation.
Take this journey with us and learn how to help others—and yourself—navigate the path to healing and empowerment.
